Problem: No.1
DEFECT: Dark razor sharp vertical Line (no paper jams)running the length of the page. CAUSE: You most likely have a scratched OPC drum in your cartridge. Return to your vendor for servicing or replacing.

Problem: No. 2
DEFECT: Vertical gray line down page(intermittent paper jams?). CAUSE: If you run your finger over the line and can feel a slight groove or ridge, then your fuser may be damaged. Check your page counts it may be time for a maintenance kit. If you don't feel a ridge, then your cartridge may be defective. If one of ours and less then a year from reman. date, No Charge. Otherwise return to your vendor.

Problem: No. 3
DEFECT: Vertical gray lines .5 to 1 inch thick and Ghosting (see below). CAUSE: Wiper blade within the cartridge is worn and needs to be replaced. If one of ours and less than a year from reman. date No charge. Otherwise, contact your vendor.

Problem: No. 4
SAME AS ABOVE.

Problem: No. 5
DEFECT: A vertical white line approx. 1 - 2 inches in width. Generally appearing down the middle of the page. CAUSE: Your toner is low/empty. If cartridge is carefully rocked front to back and reinstalled, then prints good for a few pages. Most likely your toner is low/empty. If the white line is very sharp then something is blocking the laser light (label on top the cartridge sticking up, Cover screw, piece of loose paper)?

Problem: No.6
DEFECT: 3 - 5 dots running down the page in an exact line. CAUSE: Your OPC drum has a nick on it. If you were printing labels and had a paper jam, then sometime adhesive may get stuck on the drum or even damage the drum. If the OPC drum needs replacing and one of ours less than 1 year from reman. date No Charge. Otherwise, contact your vendor.

Problem: No. 7
DEFECT: Splotchy print. CAUSE: Damp paper (Manoa, Wahiawa, etc...) natural A/C is good for enviroment not good for paper. Storing paper in Tupperware like containers may help.

Problem: No. 8
DEFECT: Wavy line usually on the right side of the page. CAUSE: The OPC Drum is worn and needs to be replaced. If one of ours and less then 1 year from reman. date No charge. Otherwise, contact your vendor.
